Things AES Take Responsibility For:

• Content
  The An Extra Slice of Nostalgia Pie site, known as An Extra Slice (AES) is currently a one-woman operation. All opinions expressed here are solely those of Angel Noire and not that of anyone else. Angel, and Angel alone, is responsible for the content (research, writing, editing etc.) and not anyone else. Any company that Angel is employed by or any group, organization, or establishment that she may be associated with would not be responsible either. 

• To the best of Angel's knowledge, the information gathered to create each post on the An Extra Slice blog is accurate. There is a possibility that it may be prone to errors and absence of some key facts, but thorough research is undertaken to ensure that the finished posts are as acurate as is humanly possible.

• Mistakes
  As Angel is a human and not an android, there is a very small chance that from time to time, she might make a mistake ranging from a minor spelling or grammatical mistake to a factual error. To err is human as they say so making mistakes is inevitable  - no matter how much we try to avoid that. And with regards to the above point, and not that Angel wishes to brag, they're clearly all her errors seeing as she's the one who's responsible for the content. She'll do her utmost best not to get anything wrong but unfortunately, Angel cannot make any promises.

• Changing Her Mind 
  There's also a good chance that her non-android self might change her mind. Therefore over a certain period of time, there is a possibility that her thoughts and opinions could change. Angel is not saying it will - she's just saying it could. Angel is generally pretty consistent in her views but now is not necessarily forever - we do the best we can with what we know at the time, and as we learn more or see things in a different light, our views can change. So don't be shocked if current posts express different opinions to earlier posts.

       Blog posts

• Every post written (unless it's a very rare post written by a guest writer, in which case, you will know) is written by Angel. Therefore it belongs to Angel and Angel alone. But regardless of who it's written by, all posts belong to An Extra Slice. If you like a post on AES, please feel free to link to it.

• If for some reason you need to use a portion of it could you please a) contact AES and ask first - it's only polite to do so, and then b) if you are given permission (and more than likely, Angel will say yes) please link to the original post and credit AES.

      Photographs

     Images used on this site come from three sources:

     i) Angel's own

     ii) Freestock photos

     iii) People who have given/sold images

     

It will be clearly stated where the images came from with credit given to the              appropriate people and link backs. Angel is very careful as to where she sources her images and to ensure that mistakes don't happen. But despite the best of intentions mistakes can happen, and if you feel that she has used a photo which shouldn't have been used, then please contact her, politely explain and we will get to the bottom of it.

  Every effort is taken to make sure that all the information, including links, are accurate at the time of posting but there’s no guarantee that information posted today will still be valid or accurate tomorrow. In fact if it's information found online, there's also the possibility that it might not even exist tomorrow, as web pages are sometimes taken down (as we've all found.) The information in this blog is provided “as is” with no warranties, and confers no rights.

• Incoming Links
  AES has no control over who links to our posts. If you see a dubious site linking to this blog, you can take the issue up with them. This blog is not submitted to “link farms” or directories so if a site has linked to a post on AES, that was done all on their own.

• Personal Offence
  AES will never knowingly slander, defame, or libel anyone. Stating that 'that bloke off the telly has a dodgy haircut' is fine because that's my opinion and I'm entitled to that - which is partly what this blog is about. Saying 'that bloke off the telly wears My Little Pony socks' is NOT ok, and NP will refrain from such claims and groundbreaking info - we are not the tabloids after all. Unless of course it is common knowledge and one hundred per cent true that the man from the telly wears MLP socks. 

• NP does not take responsibility for comments left by followers or forum users but will remove any comments if absolutely necessary. 

• If content matter, bad grammar, slang or punctuation translates or is interpreted into something bad in your country, community or culture it was certainly not my intent and I will not be held responsible for it.

• If you’re one of those people who are bound and determined to find offence where none was intended, please feel free to close the window and don't return.

       Common Sense Warning 

• AES would never want to see any kind of harm come to our followers - or anyone else for that matter. The posts here are written with good intentions and from the writer's  experience. But remember that what works for one person doesn't always work for someone else so please apply common sense, and where necessary research, before mindlessly making decisions based on what is written here. You won’t be compensated in any way if you suffer a loss/damage/inconvenience because of something written in this blog.

• Even though every effort is taken to ensure that the information for each post is accurate, there are times you may need to consult with a trained professional before taking the advice given here. Angel is a teacher but she is not a doctor, lawyer, therapist, personal trainer, beautician, chef, or any other type of trained expert so please double check if necessary that the advice given is suitable for you. 

• The same applies to advice that is given through the forums by other followers. People give advice based on their own experiences and it's not the same for everyone, so whenever necessary, please use your own brainpower and common sense before following advice

• Making Money
  AES does not presently accept any payment for the posts written here but that's not to say that we won't change our minds in the future if we have reason to do so. However any sponsored posts will be clearly marked as such, and furthermore Angel will only consider sponsored posts if the product or service is one that she uses or has used and liked, and that it does exactly what it says on the tin. Anything written here will come from a place of honesty and nothing else. There will be no paid recommendations disguised as personal opinion, and anything raved about here is because Angel think it's fab and not because she was paid to say so.

       Comments
       It's fine to disagree with Angel in the comments section of each blog entry or           on the forum boards. But please be polite because a) even though Angel likes           to make out she's a badass, she's actually really sensitive b) it's pretty childish           to be rude just for the hell of it, and c) trolls just aren't welcome here.

• Angel reserves the right to delete any comment for any reason whatsoever – like abusive, profane, rude, anonymous comments, and spam. Once a comment passes moderation she won’t be held responsible for the contents of blog comments. And she's not responsible for any laws that may be broken in any country through the content, implication, and intent of blog comments.

• Don’t bother commenting just to spam your site - we can usually tell. Your comment in this situation will be deleted, But if you’re leaving an honest-to-goodness comment please link to your blog or site – Angel and AES followers would love to see it!​
